Faith Food Pantry

We are a Choice Food Pantry located in  and serving West Chester and the Lakota School District. As a Choice Pantry families can make personal shopping choices in each of the nutritional food categories.

Food Pantry Hours

Tuesdays from 1 - 2:30 PM
Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 PM
Saturdays from 10 - 11:30 AM
 
Families can visit Faith's Food Pantry once per month. We can also provide assistance in emergency food situations.
                                                                

 

 
Clothing Closet

We offer free gently-worn clothing for infants, children & adults.  
Open Tuesdays from 1 till 2:30 pm and on Saturdays from 10 till
11:30 am., the Clothing Closet is open to everyone in need of
items. Twice per year we also offer free household items.


Good Samaritan

To provide an extra hand during troubled times, we provide
financial assistance with unexpected or emergency-type
expenses. Assistance is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
An application requesting assistance and a copy of the bill
is required.


Breakfast Outreach

On the second Saturday of each month, we host a free hot breakfast.
Held from 9:30 till 11:30 a.m., everyone is welcome to come and enjoy.


Holiday Meals



 



 

 To show God’s love and hope during  the Holiday season, we provide  Thanksgiving and Christmas assistance  to area families. 

 Thanksgiving - Faith Community hosts
 a free community Thanksgiving meal.
 This event will take the love and  support of many willing hands and  hearts.  Servant volunteers will be  needed to prepare, serve and clean up  the meal.  If Interested, contact Tara Yunker at Tara.Yunker@emailfcumc.net.

 Christmas - Faith Community hosts a
 Christmas Celebration which includes a
 breakfast, gifts and crafts for the 
 children.  Families will also receive a  Christmas food basket and a new toy  for each child.  Sign-ups for the  Christmas Celebration will begin in  November.

Faith Closet

Each Spring during our annual Faith Closet, we offer free
gently-used houswares and furniture to area families. 
Additionally, we share God's love with them by distributing
a Bucket of Love filled with spring cleaning supplies.


Stepping Forward



 

 

Stepping Forward is held weekly on Tuesday nights. 
This program helps equip low-income families with the skills and knowledge they need to move their lives forward.

The Stepping Forward program includes:

Community Dinner with Praise music and prayer from 6 to 7 pm
Children’s Programming from 6:30 to 8 pm
Referrals to other needed services from 6:30 to 8 pm
Life Skills Classes for adults from 7 to 8 pm, beginning June 7
Faith Food Pantry will be open from 6:30 to 8 pm
Prayer Room will be open from 6 to 8 pm

The Life Skills Classes offered include things like basic computer skills, couponing, budgeting, nutrition and cooking classes.  Each week we will be offering different Life Skills classes to meet the needs of the families and individuals attending Stepping Forward.  Stepping Forward and the Life Skills classes being offered have great potential to grow to help local families step forward with their lives.  If you would like more information about Stepping Forward, please contact tara.yunker@emailfcumc.net.
